Our Story - 7Village
Established in 2012, but its roots go back much further
to a small home in India, and to a mother whose quiet
acts of kindness left a lasting mark.
Growing up, I watched my mother give what she could
to support seven nearby villages. She never spoke
much about it - she just helped where help was
needed. That spirit of generosity shaped me, and when
the time came for me to leave India to begin a new
chapter in Australia, I asked for her permission and her
blessing. She gave both without hesitation.
Before I left, I sat down and counted each of the
villages she had supported. There were seven in total.
That number stayed with me. When it came time to
name the restaurant, there was only one choice -
7Village. It's a name that reminds me of home, of the
values I was raised with, and of the love that followed
me across the world.
7village is built on family, memories, and the belief that
no matter how far we go, we carry our roots with us.
